Good grief ! 🙄
Someone very popular on EP once posted a picture of a dark complexioned woman, saying, "Eww, have you ever seen anyone this black ?"
I was surprised she couldn’t hear me facepalming.
A poster I was especially fond of replied to her, "Well, it’s the 21st century and I haven’t been living under a rock, so—yeah !”

I am a regular at my local Indian place and I rarely see other non-Indian people in there. If I saw some white folks in there acting the fool I'd be so embarrassed.
@DearAmbellina2113 I was embarrassed by the way that woman acted
Younameit · F
She was expecting fake Indian people?

I still hear people out in public, in restaurants, etc., openly talking about mixed couples and kids of mixed couples.
WTH? Where have they been?
WTH? Where have they been?
That seems like a very odd comment...
Unless they're going off the jokes that English now eat more curry than Indians do, or thinking the food might be more authentic because the natural people are eating there...
But still, you don't say that out loud... especially if you don't know if they are actually that culture or not...
I see it a lot with people calling Mennonite religious people, calling them Amish... but they're clearly not Amish if you know the difference.
That being said, I have gone to a Chinese restaurant, and none of the workers on the floor were Asian looking... and we thought it was strange that not one single one? .... but the cook later came out of the kitchen and clearly was Asian and looked Chinese to me. And the food was great, no matter what it was.

I think some people are just born that stupid
Ugh, I’m feeling second hand embarrassment just reading that. Like the Ugly Americans you encounter when traveling out of the country. Times when you just want to…….
