@cherokeepatti The machines are supposed to be properly and thoroughly washed, sanitized, and dried, including all internal and attached components, every single night, it was my bff in Denver's job when she worked closing at the McDonald's we met at, it's a two hour side job.

@NativePortlander1970 Yes they are. And at other places too. The boy has a friend who worked for a drive-in restaurant here and she says the ice cream machines have mold inside of them. I have trust issues with soft serve. I also had an incident after getting frozen yogurt at Sam’s Club. Both times felt like my guts were being wrung out and were gonna get damaged. It was that bad.

@cherokeepatti Then she should have called her county health department, every state has a law, as well as a federal law, that mandates employees must report any food service employer that fails to maintain safe food handling practices, as well as any kind of contamination, primarily mold on any surface or in any machine. As a former food service manager I was very ocd to keep my places clean.

@NativePortlander1970 Believe she is quitting, the manager is corrupt. She may call after she quits. There was a lot going on there

@cherokeepatti If she does not call now she will be held just as liable if anyone gets sick before she calls since she has fore knowledge, they will ask why she waited so long. I am so very sorry for the late replies, I'm under restriction.
