vanilla is by far the best icecream flavor. You can add a whole bunch of stuff to it also to enhance it

@Torsten a good vanilla is hard to beat but over here it often just means milk flavored.

@MethDozer milk flavored doesnt sound so good. Needs to actually taste of Vanilla. You can either get really good vanilla icecream or some of the worst tasting icecream that tries to pass itself off as vanilla

@Torsten a lot of times it's just not very flavorful unless you get specific brands. A lot of it is bland on the vanilla. If it doesn't have bean specks chances are it's going to be bland.
