After brushing my teeth, the first thing in the morning that I consume are 2 tea spoons of honey.

Maybe it's better brushing them after, not before, the honey 馃樁

@Elessar Cleaning mouth with water after honey might be helpful.
I can't see how this would be good for your teeth...
@Riemann Most research suggest that sugar is bad for your teeth - so you're brushing your teeth to remove anything that is harmful to your tooth enamel... then promptly ingesting more sugar, which will remain on your teeth until you brush them again.

If you were to ingest honey, wouldn't it be better to do so before you brush your teeth???

@HootyTheNightOwl You have a point. Eating in unbrushed mouth of long hours could be bad for health.
@Riemann It's not the eating part that concerns me... it's more that you have just coated your previously clean teeth with sugar.

Let's say that you brush your teeth twice a day, at 9am and again at 9pm. This sugar is potentially coating the nooks of your tooth surface for 12 hours, where it is busy harming the surface of your teeth.

It's for this reason that dentists advise that you brush your teeth after meals and consuming sugary drinks, to limit the amount of time that acids and sugars spend in contact with the hard to reach areas of your teeth and thus cause less damage to the teeth themselves.

After brushing my teeth, the first thing I consume is three peas and half a nut.
