I Love Home Cooked Meals
Here's something you can do during your quarantine life. It's yummy and healthy. It's Lentil Soup. I made it and I love it!

In 4 tbsp olive oil, add 1 medium-size onion, 2 medium-size carrots, 2 cloves of chopped garlic, and 1 medium size potato. Season with 1/2 tsp cumin, red ground pepper, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1tbsp dried mint, and salt.
Then add 1+1/4 cups red lentils. To make your soup thicker, add 1/2 tsp flour. Stir everything to develop the flavor. After that, add 2 cups chicken stock, and 4-6 cups boiling water.
Leave it to cook for about 15 minutes or so. Then blend your soup until it becomes soft. And you're done!
This is optional, melt 1 tbsp butter, add 2-3 tbsp olive oil, and 1 tsp or less red pepper flakes. Then pour this mixture over your soup as your serve. It adds more depth to the flavor of this soup.
