this woman doesn’t play we booked it out of that kitchen. I’ve worked for her since I was 16. I think it was cultural cause he was Jamaican. But no one disobeys her at work. Hell I said something under my breath one time and she happened to be walking by with a full size industrial cutting board and swatted me with it. (I was 14 and haven’t talked back since) (by that I mean when she can hear me 😂)

@Soramarie thank you for not taking that wrong lol. So many people go on about how that’s abuse🤦🏻‍♀️. Rather than laughing and moving on. She also used to throw stuff back at the sink if it was dirty when put away. Oh well if you were in the way.... obviously not knives

@Soramarie Our chef was VERY concerned for people's safety, but he would threaten people at knife point if he caught them putting people in danger.

we has one person undercook chicken (I almost wrote children 😂😂😂,need more coffee) and she screamed them out of the kitchen. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Personally I think super tough chefs are awesome.

[@They are. A lot of people who come to work with them start in high school. My mom saying was always if you can make it through summer with me , you can work for anyone.

she literally fires me for a month one time. Then hired me back..... seems weird but I had really gotten cocky cause my mom was the boss. Plus if you thing about it super effective punishment cause I wanted to go to the movies and stuff and she was like well if you had a job you’d have money to go......... yes was not happy 😂
