@NCCindy it’s an old time recipe. A simple buttermilk custard in a pie shell. After I was adopted and started warming up to my parents , mom asked me what kind of pie I liked . I didn’t know . So she made one of those ( and asked me to help) . It tasted like magic I thought . She made them for me all the time after she saw my reaction . My husbands cousins that live out by the farm always make me one for the holidays .

@TexChik I looked up recipes for it on Google.

Gonna need to try making kne sometime.
