@Alababy Really? No mangoes at all? Others are saying unripe mangoes
Alababy · 36-40, F
@DiegoWolfe @Justice4All I’m allergic to them.
DiegoWolfe · 36-40
@Alababy Well being allergic means no mangos for you! I shall eat all your mangos!!!

@Penny 😂 Olives are a fruit too? That's the last fruit I'd put in a smoothie.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Justice4All They are a fruit (or a drupe? - I know there is, but I forget, the difference) because they carry the seed, but no, not really a "smoothie" ingredient!

Though to me no fruit is suitable for a "smoothie". Eat it intact or drink the juice, but not pulped.

I can't see any of the 3 comments it says there are on this post

Tomatoes
@Notsimilarreally Blocked by the person? 🤷‍♂️
Notsimilarreally · 31-35, F
@Sojournersoul or I blocked them : )
@Notsimilarreally Maybe so. Hate when i cant see them.
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
I don't think any fruit are suitable for smoothies. It is healthier and simpler to just eat the fruit. Reducing the fruit to a smoothie makes the sugars more available to your digestive tract so that as far as sugar content is concerned a smoothie is just as bad as drinking cola.
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@ArishMell They should still be in the smoothie surely?
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@ninalanyon I don't know. I assumed a "smoothie" is merely thin fruit pulp, but I have not seen any recipes for them.
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@ArishMell I've never made one. I always assumed that things lke apples would simply be cored and roughly chopped before being put in a blender. But the method on WikiHow, https://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Smoothie, says to remove peel. That immediately makes it less nutritious.
Cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, olives, courgettes, squash...I think
Overly ripe bananas and unripened mangoes
Justice4All · 36-40, M
@mindlessdrifter yeah exactly, ripe bananas... not healthy either
mindstruggle · 31-35, F
Pickle, peas
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
I like Zucchini in smoothies.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Tastyfrzz Avocado makes a good smoothie.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
@cherokeepatti i discovered it a few years back. It adds body to the smoothy. Comes out like soft serve ice cream.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Tastyfrzz A Filipino lady told me they like avocado with cream and ice, sort of like an ice cream.
helsbels · 26-30, F
Pineapples. They're not smooth at all. Really the opposite in fact.

The grapes of wrath.

Justice4All · 36-40, M
@LiLShrimp Yeah, you're right. I've tried grapes in one of my smoothies before. It was a bad idea. But I think it depends on what you add it with.
helsbels · 26-30, F
@LiLShrimp I like grapes, but you're right, never seen them in a smoothie!
Justice4All · 36-40, M
@cherokeepatti I've never had durian before. Is that imported?
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Justice4All It’s from Asia. Some say it smells like a cross between rotten onions and sewage.

Bananas. They're the devil's fruit.😼
@Justice4All Don't do it, it's a trap!😯
Justice4All · 36-40, M
@DancingStarGoddess 😂 I'm sure you whip up a fantastic banana smoothie.
@Justice4All I haven't had them since I was little really. Not since the dreaded banana incident 😵‍💫
Tomatoes, cucumbers ?
Justice4All · 36-40, M
@bijouxbroussard I forget cucumbers are fruit. Yeah I wouldn't think that would go great in smoothie... but then again, I didn't think avocado would be great in smoothies until I tried it
