to ppl who didn’t take the vaccine, plz be careful. 💔 u know when the government talks about something and makes it public that just means they have been doing it for a while now, but are only letting us know, years later. what the fuck are we eating?

Alright, did some digging because this is interesting.

Short version: Nobody is doing this. There is no plan to secretly turn everyone's vegetables into vaccines.

Long version: Research has been done to determine if you could create edible vaccines. The answer is, probably!

This is technology which does not exist in any usable way right now, it's something that can be done in laboratory conditions only and requires a lot more work.

The reason for this is that vaccines are expensive and difficult to distribute, and nobody likes needles. An edible vaccine is cheaper and easier to pass around. Importantly, you would understand you are taking a vaccine.

However, there are no plans to like - just put vaccinated vegetables on grocery store shelves and give you vaccines without you knowing. Nobody wants to do that because it's a stupid and dangerous idea.

@CountScrofula i think that's probably the origin of this story. Somebody somewhere saw a story about creating edible vaccines- meaning vaccines that could be swallowed for people who don't like needles- and they took it as foods being secretly vaccinated and like everything these days it gets passed around and snowballs.

One of the big things is that the belief that there is a sinister plot is a lot easier to put together than the sinister plot itself.

perhaps they are not doing this right now secretly, but they have moved the bill that proposed it. it hasnt been denied. it’s also easier to say our government wouldn’t do something so fucked up to us but we are one of the only countries who literally feeds their children poisonous produce. @CountScrofula

The bill is -from the guy in the video - he wants vaccinated vegetables to be labelled.
