Been given this space ( bless decent humans) to grow my veggie garden. Super cool. Now puzzled to what's easiest vegetables to grow and sustainable just in case we really and trully run out of the food馃槦

So jealous! I used to love veg growing until my marriage ended and I moved to a flat. Spuds are good, they're a staple, versatile and supply carbs and other nutrients (if you keep the skin on). Beans are good, they take up less space and I love the taste of home grown peas too.
@Nomoretomorrow Thank you. Yeah I have been looking into it and I have decided to grow both potatoes and beans. I have never grown anything 馃檲 So it's going to be a great fun-challenge. I may do some herbs too :)
