Finally caught a damn fish

@TexChik I love catching them. Our laws are so screwed up on keeping the damn things that they mostly go back to the water.

@Notanymore They are so beautiful. We actually have them in Texas if you know where to look.

@TexChik our river here is loaded with small mouth. Them, walleye and muskie are about all that we can get to bite this time of year.

@Notanymore I love throwing artificials . Here the "rubber" swim baits are already working .

@TexChik we use a lot of artificials here, but with the water temperature around 42, they don't like chasing as much. Plus it's easier to drink beer while drifting live baits.
