@JoyfulSilence yeah... there really is no perfect sugar substitute. sugar alcohols are hard to digest and get harder to digest the older we get.

there's stevia, but it has a wicked aftertaste 😝

i only consume invert sugar/table sugar, but it's very rare. i don't have diabetis, i just don't like sweet foods very much, except fruit and chocolate, and i prefer very dark chocolate, which isn't very sweet.

did you know walking for at least 10 minutes immediately after eating completely changes the way your body handles sugar for the better? but it has to immediately. no sitting and digesting.

I like it. I had to switch from sugar to Splenda, though. But I like Splenda. I actually do not miss sugar.

I wonder if they make sucralose donuts. But maybe it does not respond well to heat. Yet I put it in my coffee.

@JoyfulSilence I don’t know. I almost never eat donuts. I don’t understand the hype about them. Now cupcakes are a different story

I like those, too, especially the frosting. But I had to stop eating those, too.

@SW-User I cut back considerably as well. The alcohol with the least amount of sugar is vodka, which I only drank rarely, and in mixed drinks.

for you, a vodka martini for a special occasion... dry, extra olives on side. shaken, not stirred.
