@cherokeepatti Bavarian cream was my favorite filled, but over all, apple fritters. When I worked for Winchell's as a counter clerk/prepper, our maker added a shot of applejack liquor to his apple fritter and bear claw mix.

@NativePortlander1970 I liked bear claws and Bavarian filled ones too. They used to sell a chocolate coated cherry jelly filled Long John at a local bakery, they were really good.

@cherokeepatti Jerry used to fill bars with his apple filling and dip them in the maple glaze for his own.

@NativePortlander1970 oh yeah maple glazed Long Johns were really good too.

@cherokeepatti Our manager wanted to add them to our menu, but corporate wouldn't let us, bars weren't allowed to be filled according to them.

@NativePortlander1970 corporate are clueless about what people want and will buy it seems.
