So people really out here not tipping delivery people?!?

I didn’t want to go out in public so I did an online order dasher said I made their day with the tip guy was telling me people hardly tip and that baffled me he said I tipped more in one order than he had received in the last 10 days of working so either he didn’t do a lot of orders or people are assholes. I tipped a little bit more than I normally would but it was a holiday and someone was working and doing me a solid but not enough to make a big deal. It broke my heart for this man 😞

I'm on the fence about the whole tipping thing.
Why should I supplement the income the employer is supposed to pay,?
Some people in the service industry only make a bit over 2 Dollars an hour.
And are expected to make up for it with tips.

By tipping the one we are really helping is the businesses that employ these people.

Like I said. I'm on the fence on this one.

I am a good tipper as well. It is a shame.

I don’t think people tip as much as they should or as often. Especially for delivery drivers. Some of that is also on the companies because of the delivery fees that put but don’t give to the actual delivered.
