How much/far do I have to deliver to earn minimum wage or more from UberEats?
From what Meta AI told me, I'd have to either deliver a week's worth of groceries (even with upgrades to my bike, that's probably extremely difficult) and/or I'd have to travel by bike (don't have a car) for like an hour. I think such estimates are accurate as I've recently "upgraded" from delivering mere hours worth of groceries and/or to customers a few minutes away; to now groceries lasting several days and/or to those that are almost half an hour away by bike. Yet despite that I'm still like halfway to earning minimum wage for base pay and almost if we consider tips (it's 17.5 CAD here, which I think is like uh 12 USD). My dad has generously bought me several upgrades to my bike from Temu (yes I know, but Amazon kind of expensive), although it'll take a few days to arrive; I will soon have flashlight, cargo rack, front basket, rear basket, second bike lock, and rearview mirrors. I've made sure that the stuff that's bought from Temu isn't the bottom of the barrel, and yes they're giving away most of it for free if some of it is bought (they're playing the long game like Walmart and Amazon did before).
