I've had the worst experience with delivery drivers this weekend.

First of all, my Walmart delivery waited in her vehicle with my groceries until I came outside to get them! I let her know it was unacceptable... Terrible customer service.

Then, my Doordash driver took one of my cigarettes off my porch and said "Oh, I took one of your cigarettes. That's ok right?" He said this as he was smoking my cigarette with all the smoke coming in my door. Trashy. (I know cigarettes are yuck. I only smoke one if I'm drinking, so I had no plans on buying anymore for awhile. I HATE buying cigarettes. They're so expensive. He was unbelievably rude for that.

Additionally, my doordash driver just now texted me and expected me to come outside and get my food from him. I told him the directions specifically say leave it at my door.

Normally, I never have so many problems. These people are crazy.

Luckily, the lady who delivered my cat food yesterday went the extra mile. Thank goodness.

@Adogslife And I'm actually surprised, that at your age, you would feel this way. I would think you would remember when work ethics and taking pride in you job was actually a thing.

@WizardofOz I definitely do. I refuse to use door dash. I’m not that lazy that I can’t get it myself.

But, that’s why I stated initially that both are lazy. Neither is acceptable imho.

If you’re going to do a job, do it well. Don’t quit. No exceptions.

@Adogslife Who's to say people, including myself, who use Doordash or Walmart or geocery delivery services have means to get out and get it themselves? The reason people use these services is the convenience they provide. It doesn't necessarily mean they're lazy. I think Doordash delivers to my job probably 30 times/day. They're not lazy for not getting it themselves. They're working and unable to make it to these places. I use Walmart delivery, but I prefer to get it myself. Sometimes I'm unable to get there myself.

Your thinking is definitely off... all people should do their jobs to their best ability. My decision to use Walmart delivery services doesn't have anything to do with laziness. The services that day were actually not the norm hence I was complaining. They normally do better which I appreciate.

Door dash here they been stealing food I stopped using them and Taco bell reported them
