I think that it could definitely be a glitch in the app - it sounds like there is some sort of disconnect between the restaurant and the delivery services. So, I would definitely recommend using Grubhub instead of door dash or uber eats - because it seems like Grubhub is doing a better job of syncing their inventory system with the restaurant's. So, I think that you'll be much more likely to find what you're looking for if you use Grubhub instead of door dash or uber eats.
