I’m never gonna do Postmates at night again...

I thought it’d be a perfect time to make some extra cash but I was wrong. Last night I seemed to have found myself in all the worst areas of town. Bunch of crazy people were out and about last night and I seemed to be finding every single one of them. Some crazy lady was throwing bottles up into the air and letting them smash while I was looking for an apartment in the dark. I never saw her because it was so dark but I heard the bottles crashing down nearby. Then some guys hoodies by some dumpsters started staring at me as I walked by. Not a big deal there but they did look pretty intimidating if I gotta be honest. Then I found myself caught between two road raged drivers on a single lane road. The one in front was purposely slowing down and the one behind me was tailgating me trying to get me to go faster. Then one of the customers told me he was gonna follow me home if I didn’t get him his ice cream delivery to him on time. I wasn’t able to deliver it because the GPS was giving me the wrong address info and the guy seemed to be too drunk to properly explain where he was at exactly. He sounded cross faded or something. First text message I get from the guy and he’s cussing me out. Second message he tells me he’s gonna follow me home. I had enough at that point and just threw his crap into a nearby dumpster and left after turning off my phone because he was tracking me through the app. I ain’t no badass and I know it. I’m just an average 5’10 guy with hardly any muscle on me. I ain’t no marine, gang banger or anything like that. If I can leave situations like that unscathed then I will. The $3 for a food delivery just isn’t worth getting into sketchy situations like that late at night.
