@YoMommaI really want an air fryer, but I was so disappointed with a 5 star rating fryer I found. I was traumatized. It took 26 mins to barely crisp 8 fries 😩. How long does it take you to cook fries if you tried it yet?
@MellyMel22 yeah i made fries and those frozen pre cooked chicken tenders together and it turned out fine.. my hub got this air frier from temu recently he went on a few shopping crazes on there getting the "free gifts" 🙄 bought tools and stuff anyway i think it was only 30-40$ or something idk it works good imo i made some pre frozen stuffed chicken in it tonight but haven't trued it yet .. looks good tho 😁
@MellyMel22 ah yeah the dollar store.. i be spending 50$ there 😅😅 i do a lot of thrift store shopping but i had to chill lately because we moved to a tiny house 😬 nowhere to put anything.. we used to have a three bedroom house and i had one of the soare rooms full of stuff but i gave a lot of it away ladt year to a girl who was having a yard-sale with her mom, i needed the space 😬
@YoMommaI have to get rid of stuff like that. I think I’ll be moving soon and I’ve lived here over 25 yrs 😬 It must’ve felt great to get rid of that stuff. My dollar store visits are always high too. I mostly get tissues, plastic forks/spoons cause my kids throw out my silverware if not 🙄 and of course a bunch of other junk follows 🤣
@MellyMel22 i get my hand soap and shampoo there.. my uncle would mix his own soap for those foaming hand soap dispensers just mix the refill soap with water .. more efficient that way .. and i get my shampoo there too they have some good ones ☺ bubble bath and whatever 😊 i bought a bunch of cake carriers there because i would bake a lot of cakes back then.. not so much now 😬
@YoMomma That’s how they get us, with stuff like that! I used to get antibacterial soap there, but they stopped carrying it for a long time and I ordered hands free hand soap things for foaming soap. I found the soap cheap at Target and bought 8 😳🤣 It was so worth it. It doesn’t go that fast.
@MellyMel22 i'm kinda obsessed with hand washing so we use a lot 😅😅 i add other stuff to it sometimes too like conditioner or lotion just for moisture content as too much soap can dry out your skin .. i mix soaps
@YoMommaMy kids waste soap, so I had to stop buying bath & body works soaps- which made me so mad.. But I had enough of them going through bottle after bottle so damn fast and that’s when I decided to get the auto dispenser and it is sooo worth it. I immediately ordered a second for the kitchen. It’s used a lot, but the foam soap goes a very long way- but then again the soap holder is pretty big compared to single use bottles.
I used to add essential oils to the dollar store hand soaps b/c I felt safer. I’m like you w/it, I’m a hand washing freak. Certain products make my hand swell and get an eczema like reaction, so I have to be careful adding stuff. Less than a month ago it was so bad I think that’s what set off a lab test 😂 My dr was like, did you have a recent severe allergic reaction?
@MellyMel22 thankfully im not allergic to anything that i know of.. but i am picky about how stuff smells, can't stand some stuff, irish soap hurts my nose and some other scents i'm not a fan of but don't know what they are exactly 😬
@YoMommaIm sensitive to smells too, but usually don’t have trouble with soaps. One antibacterial I got a huge one of bothered me, I think it was oatmeal vanilla or something and it stunk so bad but it was all they had when Covid hit first.
