but why do they need to be so good and bad for you for you? I swear how does one meant to lose weight in such a world

You can *UN-learn*(Yeah I know, not a word ;) ) your taste buds.
And acclimate them to new amazing things!

Eat yummy fruit smoothies or fresh berries and fruit.
Add honey or Stevia as a sweetener.

There are so many YUMMY alternatives to that.
