@Ragnarock1276 I spent too much money on a pretty decent espresso machine so I was committed to learning a LOT about it to do it right.

@Ragnarock1276 I found the best way to deal with the best coffee you can possibly make at home is to get a decent hand grinder and then figure out a technique you like. I used a hand grinder and a pourover or french press for years.

@CountScrofula i have a coffee mill i found at goodwill cheap but the most expensive beans I'm willing to buy is eight o'clock coffee. Even then its a dramatic difference from pre ground. Been using a French press for years. Love it.
