I use the old filter stuff...do you like French press coffee??

@bookerdana I think it's the best i like slow drip coffee too but after a few months I don't trust the heating element. I like bringing the water to a boil and then letting it sit for a minute and then pouring it in to the French press that way the water is hot enough to release all the bean oils.

@Lostpoet When I get up in the morning I barely have the will to pour the water into the coffeemaker nevermind wait for it to boil😦 Why would the element be bad???

@bookerdana Same. But I also don't have a drip coffee maker and I had a Keurig but i can't find the water reservoir piece. Good thing I have a French press.

@Lostpoet When I was without power for 15 days,I simply poured the water into the filter...it worked

@bookerdana I just think the elements wear out and they can't make water so hot that it would burn someone so I don't think the water ever gets hot enough.
