Is coffee addiction a thing for you?

Personally, I don't find it such a big deal. I'm currently on a low caffeine period; I get one in the morning for breakfast and seldom one after lunch. There were times I used to get like 5 a day, but mostly because work was slow and so I had more coffee breaks while waiting for things to complete. Even then, I've never much felt the need to have coffee, it was always a "nice to have".

If you mean physically then a bit. I feel less energetic and sometimes get a headache when I try to skip coffee on the weekend to sleep better.

After 17 years, I've never had cravings, and can take or leave it at will.
It's more of a comfort drink, or pleasurable indulgence for the patio or cafe.
Bold roasts, espresso, and cappuccino. Their aroma and taste is subtle and varied, and best enjoyed black.

I have taken steps to cut back, though, as I know someday dependence will develop.
Not even a hint of coffee addiction. A little caffeine is nice sometimes but never from coffee.

@Pretzel I'm groggy without sleep, independently from coffee, I noticed

@Elessar I've heard that sleep deprivation can make you as brain addled as a couple of drinks - that's scary

Nah I don’t drink it
Same. I’ve gone days without any, so I guess I’m not addicted. But I enjoy it when I have it.
once a day is addiction enough

@deathfairy It's just because I wouldn't know what to replace it with tbh
