I am relegated to drinking instant coffee. Someone save me

Before I got a coffee maker, I bought a little plastic cup with big holes, each of which were covered with a dense wire screen. I would fill it with ground coffee and put it in a mug of hot water. It had a lid, yet floated, too.

I eventually got a coffee maker since the cup lid sometimes popped open and the grounds leaked out!

But it is nice to havd when I only want one cup. I boil the water in the microwave.
