is it weird that when i had a cup of coffee today i felt like i did when i had marijuana in Amsterdam?

I was sat on the laptop doing some training, when first I noticed the sound from the tv seemed rather distant. when I turned to look at it, I felt a sudden flutter of nerves (maybe paranoia) anyways I just felt like I had muffled ears, tunnel vision, and I couldn't seem to remain in a comfortable position almost like I was slowly drifting as if I leaning a little to one side more than the other.

I wasn't giggly or anything else but I definitely wasn't myself.

I had coffee for the first time at 19 and I was really shaky and fidgety it was so noticeable that I vowed never to drink it again.

Being at home, I tried it because sometimes when I'm at work I feel a little slump/foggy headed and its been suggested I try some.
but this is not cool.

Can anyone relate or am I just a weirdo?

If you do not regularly consume caffeinated beverages, there is nothing weird about your experience.

@Threepio I couldn't find anything relating to my symptoms but I think it's best I just avoid it.
I think this was just one of those types of situations where maybe I was so fatigued, I didn't realise what exactly was going on.
Either that or I just highlighted a major issue that I need to address.

Thank you for getting back to me.
It's much appreciated.

Didn't make me feel so stupid.
