is it weird that when i had a cup of coffee today i felt like i did when i had marijuana in Amsterdam?

I was sat on the laptop doing some training, when first I noticed the sound from the tv seemed rather distant. when I turned to look at it, I felt a sudden flutter of nerves (maybe paranoia) anyways I just felt like I had muffled ears, tunnel vision, and I couldn't seem to remain in a comfortable position almost like I was slowly drifting as if I leaning a little to one side more than the other.

I wasn't giggly or anything else but I definitely wasn't myself.

I had coffee for the first time at 19 and I was really shaky and fidgety it was so noticeable that I vowed never to drink it again.

Being at home, I tried it because sometimes when I'm at work I feel a little slump/foggy headed and its been suggested I try some.
but this is not cool.

Can anyone relate or am I just a weirdo?

Maybe too much caffeine for you plus a bit of anxiety attack.
Weed can have different reactions on people too. Some of the people I know have this weird anxiety attacks after taking it. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Also “coffee shops” in Amsterdam, those are places you can have and buy some marijuana ;)

@BloviatingBuffoon I definitely think something was going on.
Maybe because i dont drink alcohol anymore, im not used to that change in feeling of control. im not sure. but i will be staying away from it.

i do think i need to have my thyroids checked as i never seem to be able to quench my thirst
@Mellowgirl yes could be. Maybe dilute your coffee and see if it still bothers you.
And probably better to get a general check up indeed
