My grandmother would occasionally make beignets au chocolat for breakfast—for the adults—they would have them with coffee. I’ve sometimes made them for brunch.
I recently saw an ad that Popeye’s (known for their chicken) plans to start offering chocolate-filled beignets, too ! 😃
