Why would anyone in the working-class pay for restaurant/fastfood breakfast? (Other than on special occasions)

I just don't understand it, it seems like murican's love to go to places like starbucks or mcdonalds and get a breakfast sandwhich. Here in sweden we just make our own breakfast.

I make better breakfast sandwiches than McDonalds I like my bacon eggs and toast. I save money. If I want to eat out I have a deck to enjoy breakfast with my wife (no dress code)
