I just don't understand it, it seems like murican's love to go to places like starbucks or mcdonalds and get a breakfast sandwhich. Here in sweden we just make our own breakfast.

Interesting question.

I'm happy retired and not part of the working class. I love making breakfast for everyone. It's like fulfilling a role that a live-in great-aunt held when I was a kid. She staked out the kitchen and asked us what we'd like, one at a time, as we stumbled in.

We've been fortunate and rarely had 9 to 5 type employment, and I can just imaging the overwhelmed circumstances where all the adults had to be at work someplace every morning, and the kids heading off to school.
