Why would anyone in the working-class pay for restaurant/fastfood breakfast? (Other than on special occasions)

I just don't understand it, it seems like murican's love to go to places like starbucks or mcdonalds and get a breakfast sandwhich. Here in sweden we just make our own breakfast.

@soar2newhighs this is what I grew up on but i cant speak for the new generations

@MartinTheFirst looks like an open face sandwich w/ ham, cheese and pickles. It’s easy to go out in the morning and hit a fast food entity or go to a street kiosk, get a cup of coffee buttered roll or bagel. In home a breakfast could vary. Here’s a somewhat usual breakfast.

@MartinTheFirst ah, I guess it’s sliced cucumber. Pork sausage, otherwise known as “ links”, but you can get them in “patty” form ( frozen- both kinds).
