Why would anyone in the working-class pay for restaurant/fastfood breakfast? (Other than on special occasions)

I just don't understand it, it seems like murican's love to go to places like starbucks or mcdonalds and get a breakfast sandwhich. Here in sweden we just make our own breakfast.

I make my breakfast majority of the time when I eat it. It's nice to go out to breakfast and try different food sometimes too. I like to be treated once in awhile. I think the working class figures they've worked hard for their money and are willing to spend it on services if it means they don't have to do it. You get a nice meal but didn't have to do any of the work. Fast food is usually purchased when we are already out and hungry but we don't want to wait a long time to eat. While traveling it is pretty much the only option unless you bring your own breakfast food along.
