I just don't understand it, it seems like murican's love to go to places like starbucks or mcdonalds and get a breakfast sandwhich. Here in sweden we just make our own breakfast.

Well, here in America. We work all day and all night. Sure, we could cook something bit then you have dishes in the sink and garbage you have to take out eventually.
Sometimes eating a huge meal at a nice restaurant on the weekend is the only real food you get. Sometimes it's the only reward you get.
Sure, it must be nice having that in your culture. But here, its how we survive. We need to eat but don't always have time to cook. That's life....
@MartinTheFirst It's what i usually do. Sometimes i run out of groceries though. That is intention because if i buy a lot of food i can't eat it all myself and it will rot. So, i buy enough to last me and if i run out of food i sometimes have to get kfc or something. Maybe on a Friday when my fridge is empty.
Sandwich meat usually lasts a few days here. They say it right on the package. So even if i bough enough for two weeks, the stuff i use 2 weeks from know will be bad.
And i live in the middle of nowhere, so the nearest grocery store is 30 minutes away, and down a major highway.
@MartinTheFirst Here is the news: Different countries have developed different cultures for different reasons. People are born or migrate into those cultures and generally have to fit in. Approval or disapproval by people in other countries is irrelevant & inappropriate unless it affects them significantly. I can be guilty of it myself but still .. 😉.
