I just don't understand it, it seems like murican's love to go to places like starbucks or mcdonalds and get a breakfast sandwhich. Here in sweden we just make our own breakfast.

Its more tradition than anything. When I go to work, the deli downstairs will bring me my bacon omelet. If I am at home, I will cook something, or my husband will.

@TexChik Wait so they bring you the bacon omelet without you ordering it?
TexChik · F
@MartinTheFirst After so many years, they know me. I always tell them good morning when I walk by their place to the elevator. If I dont want anything that day I will tell them then.

@TexChik Oh okay so this is an uncommon event? Because if everyone just got a knock on their door at breakfast time then this would make a lot more sense

@MartinTheFirst After 17 years, we have come to this. They make amazing food. I used to go down there and get it but they insist that they bring it to me.

Lol. This reminds me of a movie scene. 😊 @TexChik

@Carissimi Does it? Which one?

Not a specific one, but I’m seeing a professional woman walking by the deli, and everyone knows everyone. She says “good morning,” and before long, her breakfast is served. It’s so unusual, it feels like a scene from a romantic movie. I’m expecting Vince Vaughn to show up soon. 😊 I have seen scenes similar to this in some movies, but can’t recall which ones. @TexChik

@Carissimi Aww. I have a history with them. I talked them into opening up in the building. He was afraid no one would know where he was and they would have no business. My firm owned the building. I told him if he made good food, he would have all the business he could handle. I was right. 😊
