Why would anyone in the working-class pay for restaurant/fastfood breakfast? (Other than on special occasions)

I just don't understand it, it seems like murican's love to go to places like starbucks or mcdonalds and get a breakfast sandwhich. Here in sweden we just make our own breakfast.

I don’t, but I don’t commute either. I was always under the impression that it’s seen as a timesaver, but I used to see the lines when I took my girl to school and wondered if it wouldn’t just be faster and more relaxing to just do for oneself at home. lol

@JustNik It depends on what you get, but some fried eggs and bacon on a piece of bread would definitely be way faster to do at home
