Why would anyone in the working-class pay for restaurant/fastfood breakfast? (Other than on special occasions)

I just don't understand it, it seems like murican's love to go to places like starbucks or mcdonalds and get a breakfast sandwhich. Here in sweden we just make our own breakfast.

Artsy people tend to not be future-oriented, so they’re in an instant gratification/low effort mode a lot. You’re either broke or spending the money you have left over.

In general though working class people may just be exhausted/stressed/rushed and looking for relief.
