the bcgeu which represents 95,000 public and private workers put out a 72 hour strike notice. the bc liquor board is part of that union....

....i may be asking you to ship me booze @Lilymoon and any other sw friend who has a heart

You can still buy it at grocery stores! ... not a good selection but still... if not I'll ship ya a case 🤭

@Lilymoon our grocery stores aren't allowed to sell it. some can sell wine but that's it. we have privatized liquor stores but if they run out and the distribution board is still on stike then im sol... haha "sol" that's a mexican beer

@Lilymoon they had a strike here that lasted a while in the 80s while we were living in ontario. apparently nobody could get booze but since my dad worked for the airlines at that time he was flying in booze from ontario to bc to various people including their friends who were having a wedding....my dad the bootlegger 😂
