I Love Good Beer

I made my own beer (actually Ale) for a hobby for about 10 years in the 80's and 90's. I made all kinds of ales from a pale ale to stout, but no lagers as I didn't have a way to refrigerate for lagering. Porter was my favorite. Usually I worked from extracts, but I did do several mashes towards the end of my hobby. A co-worker loved me for it as he used to get my overage, which was about three quarters of what I made.
