how tf do i toast a bagel in a conventional oven

my toaster oven broke so now i have the gas stove which literally dries bread out into croutons.

Use a pan on the stove. Put it face down and let it heat up for a few minutes on the pan. Same way we toast bagels on the camp stove during campouts.
