@Turtlepower I know some who call it “tasteless.” They aren't Russian...from elsewhere.
It tastes of alcohol. It's cheap. What more do they ask for? I like white rum also. It's a bit sweeter, but not so dissimilar. A nice clear spirit. And strong.

@yestestvennaya i was traveling in Taiwan, and I met a Russian man and the 711 out in the countryside. We sat and talked for about 3 hours. He offered me some Vodka. I don't normally drink but I would consider it impolite. Not to have accepted, so we sat there and drank wishing our two countries got along much better.

@yestestvennaya it's the perfect mixer and even straight a good vodka is delicious.
