Businesses tend to demonstrate their insincere support of LGBTQ stuff in June for pride month

What did you come across that was overbearing?
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@HoochieTheClown I disagree... and considering your earlier post, I'm pretty sure you disagree too.

I'm not sure if the herd mentality can soley be blamed on the people you name here. Identies breed their own little cliques. But I agree that it would problably a less small phenomena, for identities ussually organise when they feel threatened in a certain way. But organisation doesn't have to be radical, but I don't believe in our current development of human beings that you can rule it out.
HoochieTheClown · 51-55, F
@Kwek00 I think I got, some of that.

but yeah safety in numbers.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@HoochieTheClown If safety in numbers goes hand in hand with people not wanting to speak up to their fellow members either for the real or the perceived notion that they will be ostrecized for it OR that the other side might use it against you. Radicalisation in numbers is just a step further away.

Because it's smart opposition, that keeps people rooted in reality. These echochambers, where opposition is rooted out, are the worst.

I'm also a bit puzzled that you don't see that this knife cuts both ways:

With speaking out against one's own people, reason that hurts is because then the opposition tends to be like, "See, even their own people are against them!" and use that as a way to push their own opposition.

'cause if the own people don't speak up, the assumption that dishonest actors go: "see, they are all equally radical and dangerous", is just as valid. I also find it totally r*tarded when people use other peoples critisms on a radical element, to put the entire movement in a bad spotlight. I honestly think, that no one should treat people that do this any more notice then the damadge that they do because they are dishonest actors. Worying how dishonest actors are going to frame any criticism, is exactly what dishonest actors like to achieve with their own radical vieuws. And no matter what side you are on, if you preach revolution or radical reactionairy standpoints, chances are that I'll be against you.

LGBT pandering here in the states is just background noise at this point. Companies still do it in June but no one really cares.
It is not a bad thing but yeah it does get old how companies claim to support peoples' lifestyles. Companies do not care about anything except keeping their shareholders happy. Not about who marries who or what lives matter this month or...

Even if someone does support something, after a while enough is enough. Excessive "support" often ends up having the opposite effect. Society doesn't seem to know where diminishing returns start.

@HoochieTheClown most people dont want others sexuality thrown in their face constantly. Its no wonder more and more people are hating that community now.
Its tiresome and yeah its the companies doing it but it all reflects negatively on that community
HoochieTheClown · 51-55, F
@Torsten
most people dont want others sexuality thrown in their face constantly
It is true. Whether it is gay or straight, a kink, fetish, or whatever, such info is best shared only with like-minded folks.

I think companies know that after a while it gets annoying when they push and push an agenda. I imagine that is the very reason they do it. To try to ruin the very communities they pretend to support.

I do not think too many people o business based on what lifestyle a place pretends to support. It is not as important as - do said companies provide quality products and services at a fair price. Isn't that the REAL reason we fork over our money?
Torsten · 36-40, M
@HoochieTheClown I dont think companies do it to ruin the communities they claim to support. They do it because people keep foolishly fall for it time after time and those companies profit from it. They wont want to ruin something when benefiting from the fake pandering.
Mark my words though, if there was no gain in it for them and it was the other way around and they made profit from hating on those communities, they would do it in a heart beat.
the companies are most at blame but those in the communities that praise it and give them their money and protest any company that doesnt pander to them are just as bad.

But again majority of people dont like sexuality and all this forced on them. We just want to live our lives, mind our own business and not have others sex life and so on forced upon us and when it is forced on us, it causes division and hate.
So yeah the companies that pander and the community that eat it up and encourage it are all making things worse for the rest of that community

What dues LBGQT parade have to do with not buying alcohol?
justanothername · 56-60, M
@Torsten it’s called being accepting and tolerant of others in your community.
tindrummer · M
@Torsten sure seems like it - shove your viewpoint down other peoples' throats
Torsten · 36-40, M
@tindrummer do you say that to everyone that posts here including yourself? whoever you are 😆
I told you it is sinful but you didn't want to listen to me
Torsten · 36-40, M
@Stargazer89 I have a trans best mate, if that counts.
No I am not against them in general. I am against certain things.
@Torsten you have a best friend that's trans?

How is it then that everything you have to say about trans people on here is negative?

I honestly thought you were against them
Torsten · 36-40, M
@Stargazer89 I am against certain things. You do know you can criticize and still not be against somthing in general right?
I am against trans women in womens athletics.
I am against children chemically transitioning.
And i am against people trying to claim that being trans is the exact same as being the biological sex they are trying to live as.

I am not against them in general though and my friend is not one of those radical trans people that supports the things i just mentioned. She just living her life like the rest of us and wants to be left alone.
tindrummer · M
How many of you haters claim to be good Christians or Christians at all?
How about decent human beings?
Torsten · 36-40, M
@tindrummer certainly not a Christian and I am not a hater. I am just sick of hearing about others sexuality. Its weird as fuck
Funlov · M
@tindrummer I can’t say hate that’s a big word but definitely don’t agree with the lifestyle but hate someone for it no
ShaneMckay · 46-50, M
Pays to go armed! No?
Torsten · 36-40, M
@ShaneMckay haha go armed to do what?
LeGrotesque · 41-45, F
You are such an unhappy little dude. Damn. Look, the world is always changing and if you don't learn to live with change, you'll always be bitter and left behind. Your choice.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@LeGrotesque actually I am pretty happy. I am not bitter either, i just dont like others sexuality thrown in my face all the time. Its idiotic and extremely tiresome. People need to stop celebrating their sexuality. Just look like fools
StygianKohlrabi · 46-50, M

Torsten · 36-40, M
