I Drank Alcohol Before I Was 21
When I was a child, my parents would occasionally give me a shot glass of beer with a meal. I didn't think it was a big deal. But, for the longest time, I always wondered why I could never order one at restaurants.

It is a big deal because a child can become an alcoholic in just one year and their life could be difficult. It takes about 30 years to be an alcoholic if someone starts drinking after 21, but only 1 year before 21 for many.
