well keep it up and when your 40 not 20 but you look 60
get back with us and let us know how that worked out
I mean no disrespect saying this cause I was once young and arrogant too
When I was 20 there was no one my age that was doing the things I was doing and had done ,
I have a nicer home than my parents ,a nicer car at the time than Dad ever had and I owned many more nicer than that one ,still do
So no one could tell me anything ,especially about alcohol
But my Dad turned out to be one of the wisest men I ever knew ,that is when I found out I was not near as smart as I thought I was
I started younger than most at everything ,but I also lost more and burned out faster too
I was sitting in a base bar slamming them down with the big boys months after I turned 17 ,but I had been drinking since I was 13 ,drinking and driving by 15
But now I don't drink anymore and no one except me ,told me when I should quit
My liver is full of fat cells so that even though it only takes a little piece of a liver to grow a new one ,that won't work for me ,when mine quits ,I'm done
Now I am in constant pain and I have to take pain meds with no other pain meds like acetaminophen or Tylenol ,that spikes my liver functions as fast as if I drank
My doctor actually calls me on holidays to tell me "No Alcohol "
though I have told him over and over and its in my record I have not drank for 23 yrs now
You may not see its effects right away ,but with women it gets them where it hurts ,it makes you look way older than you are especially if you smoke too and spend time in the sun
I have been told off a few times and called names over trying to offer sound advice the past few days so why not ,I 'm on a roll so I will attempt to warn you ,I have lived long enough to know a few things
The number one regret in my life ,,,and I have been a musician playing in clubs since my late 20's, full time ,gave it up for a while as I had to have major back surgery on my 30th birthday ,but free drinks was part of my deal ,and I never preformed and drank ,so I come into all the bars around and my drinks were free ,,friends bought me drinks ,that was marked down and I was paid for it like it was a tip ,and when you are under ABC ,a beer is not cheap in a club .
so I have consumed more than my fair share
But I wish today I had never seen alcohol ,,but some of us have to live and learn
No one could tell me anything ,everything I know ,I learned it the hard way .

I don't know anyone that didn't drank before 18. everyone here drinks, no issues whatsoever
TripHazard · 36-40, M
@unknownpoetx I dunno about the “no issues whatsoever part” 😂
