Do you like to cook from scratch?

When I'd bring brownies to work my coworker would say "Mmmm these are good, did you make them from scratch?" And I'd always tell her "Well I scratched myself when I was making them, does that count?" 😄

I usually measure for my first attempt or two at a recipe, when I get used to it I don't measure so much...most of the time it turns out well...but OOPS sometimes not so much.
