Which do you prefer - spicy, salty, sour, or sweet?

Balance, I like it all. Although the important flavour missing here is bitter. The best foods have a little bit of bitterness to them.

Well think of something like pad thai. It is sour from lime, sweet from sugar, salty from soya and fish sauce, spicy from chiles, and a little bit bitter from chili powder and sprouts. :D
