yes i've eaten it and even grown it, i hate the stuff, but everyone else in my family loves it lol.

@SimplyTracie: i can handle it like that, but the regular cooking i can't do because of that sort of goopy slime stuff that happens, that's offputting to me, my sister loves it though but i just can't
