@Kuronekko: cultural difference, Americans tend not to put cream in their tea
we'll put tons of sugar in it and serve it cold over ice though

@Niburu: well I don't, and I assumed that's who he was asking lol

@Kuronekko: just making a general obsevation
Fernie · F
@Niburu: I and my many American friends all put milk in our tea....the British just put the milk in the cup first...we do it after

SW-User
@Fernie: nooooooooooo! never put milk it first lol
Fernie · F
@Kuronekko: Really? I just see that in all the British series I watch...isn't that common? (not class common)

SW-User
@Fernie: everyone has their own way of making tea, personally I don't know anyone who does that.
Fernie · F
@Kuronekko: that's it and that's all...everyone has her own way of doing things
Niburu · 56-60, M
@Fernie: I've never seen any of my fellow Americans put cream in their tea unless it was Earl Grey
Fernie · F
@Niburu: are you talking, literally, about cream as opposed to milk? We just hang with different kinds of American tea drinkers
Niburu · 56-60, M
@Fernie: cream, 1/2&1/2, or milk - I rarely see anyone lighten their tea, I rarely do it unless it's Earl Grey or Twinings Irish Breakfast Tea
Fernie · F
@Niburu: That is interesting...the 2 different experiences. We all seem to appreciate the tea though
