What's So Bad About Spam?

Okay, I'm from Hawaii... the Spam Capital of the World. We love our spam here. What I don't understand is why does spam have such a bad reputation? Of course it's not healthy and made with all kinds of leftover sh**, but it can't be any more gross than cheap hotdogs, vienna sausage, luncheon meat, and countless other processed meats.
I think I'll make myself a spam musubi now...lol

Exactly! When they first came out with that term, us "Hawaiians" were like huh? We don't get it. How can something so good be associated with something so bad?
Just for that, I'll throw in some baked spam and a spam omelette.

My husband has a friend in MN that eats spam. But no...next to Guam, we're number one...by a long shot. We even have a spam and rice breakfast special at McDonalds!
