@amethyst1: I'm from England and I'd usually just have lemon, sugar and maybe golden syrup, but my Canadian wife has influenced me.

@ChasingBrainBros: I thought you were. Me too. I know a lot of people have lemon and sugar but trends generally are probably changing/adapting to be more American. Though I know Canadian is not American.

I do like my pancakes thin and crispy though. I might like to try them in different combinations! Does it taste better rolled up or spread on flat pancake? I know hypothetically it should taste the same lol.

I've also thought of apple sauce as something you have with savoury things which is weird because it is sweet and a fruit. Funny the associations we have.
