I think grilling outside is just getting the same food you could cook in your kitchen but with extra work for nothing

I really do and I have yet to hear anything from anyone all my life that would suggest otherwise.

I am not talking about proper BBQ with one of those smokers either. I am talking about those grills that you buy at Home Depot. Just a waste of money.

I mean, you are right in that you can cook food on a bbq exactly as you can is your house, but they don't have to be the same. The trick is knowing what you are doing. There is a knowledge base to this that is necessary. Like with anything else, if you don't have it it's not going to work out.
