I Remember When I Used To Make Ice Box Cakes With A Chopped Candy Bar On Top…

So many variations with the candy bar topping & cake mix flavors. And they got snacked on by everyone, didn’t last long. They weren’t a healthy snack but they were refreshing for a dessert. I haven’t had one in probably 15 years. Oh well…I think I might make one for the boy.

Made them like a pudding poke cake. Added Cool Whip on top and then the chopped candy bar. Very easy. Started making them when I lived in an all-bills paid apartment so didn’t need to worry about the electric bill. And it’s so hot today and tomorrow is 4th of July…I guess that is what was making me think about it.

@SweetMae I’d make a cherry cheesecake in a pretzel crust then. It doesn’t need to be baked.
